As sad as it is I remember using this scripture in a talk. It was one of those gloom and doom talks. I now read it and feel pain, pain for the people that fall for it. Life is too short to mess with our brains like that.

!!!!INTERESTING DEVELOPMENT!!!! this morning. Family member hears TTATT.
by Gojira_101 inso my husband's brother called him this morning.
i will call his brother earl (fake name :) so earl calls him out of the blue, hubby hasn't talked to him in a few months.
earl was never baptized and left jw's in his later teens and the family has also thought he was a low life and the black sheep of the family.

Baptism of a chid and an elder's response to my objection
by never a jw ini just learned that an 11 year old kid is taking the questions for baptism.
as soon as his father finished tellig me this, i told him that he should make his son wait, but he responded that he couldn't go against jehovah' spirit.
i gave the guy a break because he is the uneducated and naive immigrant who puts his heart, not his mind, into the religion.

Sex before marriage would eliminate a lot of unhappy marriages in the Borg...
by sinis insensible, safe sex, in my opinion, should be engaged in.
because, as you get older and are ready to settle down, you will look at your potential sole mate, not for sexual reasons, but for what they have to offer mentally and if they are compatible.
when religion restricts this, and yuo must marry to have sex, i believe that you doom a marriage at the outset, because these young folks marry out of lust, only to have the rose colored blinders pulled off later, and regret the entire arrangement... .

I was talking to a Baptist that I work with about this. She feels you sould waite I think Hell NO!!!! Part of marriage is sexual compatability! You don't know till you check it out! I know for a fact I would never have married my ex if I had round to try it out. I had a miserable sex life! I "took the bullet" as you said and glad I did! Yes must agree sex I think is needed before marriage.

Someone in here is a mole
by focariedu21 inhy guys the other day my wife had a discussion with her jws brother and he told her that he received all posted material from this site posted by myself and was disgusted with the information.
now that's all fine by me but what i am pissed about is that some one in here from sydney australia is a mole and pretends to be an ex jws while all the while exposing each and every one he knows as in my case.
you are one big coward and one who hides behind a skirt a yellow and a chicken shit whom doesn't have the balls to face me in person because you obviously know who i am.

Disfellowshipped from Bethel??
by gma-tired2 inmy question is it harder to be reinstated if you were disfellowshipped while at bethel.
i have someone who i worry about because of fear what he might do?
he has been denied at least twice even though he goes to all meeting and has tried so hard..

i know someone that got df for the same reason at bethel. it woke him and a few others up took a while was ugly but I'd say 5 woke up. what a stupid reason to df someone!

Local needs talk
by hoser inone of the elders was missing his service bag and suspected that one of the publishers stole it.
he was determined to root out who did it so he decided to give a local needs part on the ten commandments focusing on you must not steal.. he enlisted the help of a trusted ministerial servant and got him to stand at the back of the kingdom hall during the part.
he told the ms that he would read off the ten commandments and when he got to the one "you must not steal" he would pause longer than usual and see if anyone acted nervous or suspicious.
